The Kröller-Müller museum is by far one of our favourite museums in the Netherlands. Don’t get us wrong, we love to be in Amsterdam. But a tailor-made day tour to this beautiful museum and de Hoge Veluwe is definitely something we enjoy to do as well. You might wonder what it is we like so much about this museum. The answer is: diversity! Both the sculpture garden as the museum itself represent various artists. From Vincent van Gogh to Pjotr Müller and from Rudolf Belling to Hans Baldung Grien.

Book for Mo – Pjotr Müller

The famous collection of van Gogh is a set exposition which can be visited at all times. New during our visit last weekend was the exposition ‘Book for Mo’ by Pjort Müller. After being an artist for 50 years, Pjort wanted to share his work through a self-illustrated story. The book is intended for Müller’s dyslexic son: Mo. The artist made a great comic-like oeuvre combining coloured prints with black pen. The black pen drawings create imaginary surroundings around Pjotr’s work. The exposition Book for Mo is opened until the 14th of January, 2018.

One of the best parts of the Kröller-Müller museum is the sculpture garden. We had the pleasure to be at the museum at the first snowy day in the Netherlands. This made our visit to the garden magical. In the garden you’ll find not only sculptures, but tents, a giants stairs and other artworks as well. When visiting the museum with us, we will make sure you will see every bit of the garden. There is so much to see and we wouldn’t want you to miss anything.

When there’s time left, we will take you to the diverse nature of ‘de Hoge Veluwe’. Maybe we’ll spot some wild animals while having a stroll in the park! One thing is for sure when taking a full day tailor-made tour like this: you will have a great time and a day to remember.
