For anyone who wants to sleep somewhere different while staying in Amsterdam: go to Hotel Not Hotel. Why, you may ask? Because it is a wonderful hotel with rooms that have their own concept! The creativity that lies within each and every room makes your stay not just a good night of rest, but an experience as well.
A WORK OF ART
Each room is a work of art, designed by Collaboration-O. This is a group of designers that originated from the Eindhoven Design Academy. Our favourite room though is the crisis free zone room. This is the one room that isn’t designed by Collaboration-O but visual artist Arno Coenen and IRIS. After a long day of wandering around the city, you’re safe here to relax and withdraw from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. The wood cravings on the outside are based on Transylvanian symbolism. There to protect you from all evil.
THERE’S FOOD TOO!
Hungry? You don’t need to go out and find a restaurant. The Kevin Bacon bar is connected to the hotel and you can have some delicious dishes over here. That is, if you’re a fan of Thai food though. Go for a light Tom Kha Kai or have a Kevin Bacon platter if you’re there just for the snacks. And while you’re at it: try one of their cocktails or G&T’s as well.
One might say: “There’s no reason not to stay at Hotel Not Hotel.” And we could’ve said it. Book your room here.
