DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN AMSTERDAM
When you arrive at Schiphol airport, a personal driver for you and the rest of the group is waiting to pick you up. You will be transported to your three star hotel near the Vondelpark in Amsterdam, one of the most famous parks in the city. After check-in and a quick refreshing break, you will be handed out your own public transport card, valid for 72 hours. With this card and accompanied by your personal guide, available to you during the whole holiday,
you will hop on a private canal cruise in a characteristic salon boat. Enjoy Dutch cheeses
and Dutch pancakes for lunch while exploring the first sights on Amsterdam from the canals.
After your two hour cruise, you will return to the hotel to rest.
DAY 2: GIETHOORN OR DUTCH MUSEUM DAY
For anyone who wanted to see and enjoy the village called Giethoorn, we have the option to go on a day tour from Amsterdam (for an additional €55,00). The village, which is only accessible by boat, is loved by many cultures and a must-visit for people who love typical Dutch towns.
Rather see two museums in one day and explore the Dutch culture in Amsterdam? Here’s the other option for you! We planned a visit in the morning to the Anne Frank’s house. See what this brave young girl experienced an where she lived during WW2. In the afternoon you can choose if you want to go to the van Gogh museum and see his most beautiful, worldwide famous paintings. Or opt for the Rijksmuseum where you will discover and see different kinds of Dutch Masters such as Rembrandt and Rietveld.
DAY 3: WATCH TULIPS BLOSSOM AND HOP ON A BIKE
Ready to see Dutch tulips in all available colours and sizes? Your private driver will take you to the Keukenhof this morning where you can enjoy flowers to the fullest. After strolling through this beautiful park and snapping the most beautiful photos it is time for a fusion lunch in Amsterdam-Noord. Time to explore the neighbourhood! Hop on your bike and see Amsterdam from a local point of view. See a neighbourhood with contrasts: old and new architecture, creative initiatives, a local forest, captains houses, street art and much more. This three hour bike ride with a coffee or tea break somewhere in the middle of the tour really is something special and unique.
DAY 4: LET'S GO TO BRUGES!
Hop on a train at Amsterdam Central station to Bruges while you enjoy a to go lunch. After arriving in your four star hotel, it is time to explore the village with your private walking tour guide and see the highlights. See the Holy Blood Basilica, the Cathedral of the Holy Saviour, the Queen Astrid Park, the Beer Experience in Bruges and much more.
DAY 5: BOAT TOUR, BELGIAN FRIES AND BEER
Time to see Bruges from another perspective by hopping on one of their canal cruises. An ideal start of your morning. Lunch has something special in store for you: real Belgian fries with funky sauces and snacks: are you up for it? During the afternoon you’ll have plenty of time to yourself. Since most highlights are for free, you can decide where to go or what to do. Create that perfect Instagram shot with this iconic village as a backdrop, try Belgian beers, visit shops or just relax at the hotel: whatever you prefer. Your guide is available for recommendations if you like.
DAY 6: PARIS HERE WE COME!
Hop on the train to Paris while you enjoy a to go lunch. After arriving in your three start hotel it’s time to climb the Eiffeltower (or take the elevator, of course). Experience the most beautiful views from the top while admiring the architecture of this iconic statue created by Gustav Eiffel. After having your feet at solid ground again, it’s time to enjoy the city of love by yourself.
DAY 7: FROM MUSEUM, TO GARDEN TO EVENING LIGHTS TOUR
With your public transport card it is possible to cross the city by metro easy and fast. See a glimpse of the Mona Lisa in the Louvre museum and all the beautiful art that this museum has to offer. Reproduce everything you saw in the morning while indulging in a French baguette and sitting in the wonderful Jardin du Luxembourg. After this nice rest it’s time to be impressed by the immense Sacre Coeur (the Holy Heart) and understand what you see while listening to an audio guide. Enjoy the creative vibe in the Montmartre neighbourhood afterwards. Getting hungry already? Find a nice restaurant in the neighbourhood. For anyone who isn’t tired: experience the magic of Paris after dark and marvel at the illuminated monuments of the French Capital on a coach tour. See the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, and more in the comfort of an air-conditioned coach or open top bus.
DAY 8: DECADENCE AT VERSAILLES OR CONTEMPORARY ART
Are you a big fan of Marie-Antoinette, French decadence and welfare? Than you should definitely go to Versailles. You can opt for a day trip from Paris to Versailles for an additional €45,00. Rather have something contemporary? Opt for the other option for this day and go to the highly creative expositions in Centre Pompidou. Have a nice lunch with champagne after visiting this unique museum. See the Notre Dame in real life afterwards and light a candle to honour your loved ones. Not done exploring Paris yet? During your free time you can shop till you drop, walk around or just sit on a bench watching the hustle and bustle in the city.
DAY 9: TIME TO GO HOME.
After checking out, your personal shuttle will take you to the airport. What a lovely journey this was!
