If you’re talking about the urban garden trend that is going on interior-wise, you’re talking about Benji’s. This brunch restaurant recently opened its doors in Amsterdam East, and we are glad they did. A little terrace surrounded by trees, invites curious visitors to come inside. Once inside, loads and loads of plants tastefully combined with art pieces welcome you. This is a place where both locals as visitors of Amsterdam love to go because of all the different cosy spots in the restaurant.
After finding our place we had a look at the menu to find various brunch dishes, as promised on the website of Benji’s. The menu stars eggs, buns and bowls all described deliciously and hard to choose from. Finally, we decided to go for the acai bowl and the burrata bun. Accompanied with a fresh pineapple juice, of course. Both the bowl as the bun tasted real good. It was amazing to have a taste of Benji’s homemade and gluten free granola combined with soy yoghurt and fruits. A great combination of flavours! The burrata was very fresh and, with the additional prosciutto, really wonderful.
Definitely a place we would return to because of the good vibes and the delicious dishes!
